We are developing the most appropriate UAS platforms, methods, and conducting surveys to assess harbor seals, sea otters, and their habitats. Videos are processed using a novel application of a deep learning model that automatically detects and tracks sharks within the drone videos. This process involves using aerial and terrestrial LiDAR with drones and rovers as well as collecting GNSS data from points of interest. The model will examine sea level rise, tidal changes, flooding, and storm disturbances over the next 10, 50, and 100 years.
